Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Community Recreation Coordinator, the Recreation Leader assists in planning and organizing a recreation program for children as well as in supervising counselors. He/she assists the program supervisor in advertisement, registration and other administrative requirements.



-          High school diploma AND some experience


-          An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience will also be considered


-          Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Province (18)


Language Requirement: English Essential


Experience Requirements:

  • In working with children
  • In programming activities for children
  • In ensuring safety protocols and procedures
  • In cash handling
  • In theatre, bowling alley and office operations

Salary $11.90/hr - $14.13/hr



       Reliability Status

       This process includes a police records check for service with the vulnerable sector.
