Eurochem is a European-based fertilizer production company and the world's third-largest producer of agricultural fertilizer. We are continuing to expand our global presence by adding an Admin Assistant/Customer Service Representative to our Canadian head office in Brandon, MB. The successful candidate will work closely with our retail customers and Canadian Sales Manager. 

 Job Duties:

  1. Enter fertilizer orders into the invoicing and tracking system – currently Southware
  2. Use best practices currently in place – e.g. prepay invoices, sales confirmations, any purchase confirmations
  3. Clear customs on truck / rail orders crossing the border in conjunction with customs brokerage and do appropriate paperwork
  4. File GST Tax and appropriate tonnage tax reports 
  5. Miscellaneous office duties:
    1. Answer phones
    2. Office calendar – log in PTO days and calendar updates, ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
    3. Office management – maintain office supplies, receive letters and packages,  distribute / prepare outgoing mail
    4. Book travel for executives – hotel / air / auto
    5. Track / file expense reports for executives
    6. Create and manage both digital and hardcopy filing system for all parties
    7. Work with customer inquiries regarding invoices, BOLs and product information
    8. Help manage terminal inventories in third-party terminal positions
    9. Work with the Tulsa, OK and Tampa, FL team to help manage customer accounts and credit limits
    10. Perform ad-hoc duties as necessary
    11. Some US travel is required
