She explores the nature of nostalgia through portraiture works of her loved ones. There are two video installations which reflect Ore's daydreaming of the sceneries and sounds from her hometown while observing sceneries in Brandon. She also demonstrates the connection she has with Brandon through a series of life-size photographic head shots of her sister and the people she's grown close to since she's arrived. Nostalgica is not about praising Miami, it is about nostalgia, one of the things we feel when we are homesick. It's a personal tribute to her loved ones and to the close people who have played an important role in her life in Brandon. Nostalgica is about trying to overcome homesickness and nostalgia making it difficult for the artist to adjust in a new place.

The Louisiana Hayride, now in its 8th year!

Get ready for a fun night out when this unique and entertaining show rolls into town.  Sit back and be delighted by performances from Patsy Cline, Roy Orbison, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn and Hank Williams.  You’ll think you’re at their concert when you see and hear Patsy sing Crazy, Sweet Dreams and I Fall to Pieces or Roy sing Pretty Woman, Crying and Only the Lonely! For sure Willie’s going to sing On the Road Again and Loretta won’t leave the stage without treating you to Coalminer’s Daughter. New to the show is a tribute to Garth Brooks and Shania Twain. Audiences have been absolutely loving this addition which connects the ‘old’ country with the ‘new’. These songs and more are all performed by amazing tribute artists backed by a live band with music that’s not too loud and words you can understand! You’ll also enjoy the songs of Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Anne Murray, Hank Snow, Ray Price and Marty Robbins to name a few! There is no show like this out there! You will Love the songs, you will Love the stories.
