Friday, May 5 - 7:30pm

A SHOW FOR ALL GENDERS...18+ ONLY

WARNING! No extreme nudity, just extreme hilarity.

A fictitious male stripper troupe (played by a cast of some of Canada’s best improvisational comedians) performs a sexylarious improv comedy show. These guys try to be sexy...it just comes out funny. Constantly grooving and gyrating in between scenes they banter with the crowd and perform their hilarious twist on improv sketches. They sing, they "dance". These guys are oiled up and ready to make you laugh at them.

Semi undressed and completely unscripted, The Comic Strippers take off their shirts and take on your suggestions to create a whole new genre of comedy.

Tickets available at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium Box Office, or call 204-728-9510

Hearts to Home Gala

Join us for a delightful evening that includes a catered 4-course meal, silent auction (with work from local artists), wine pull (everyone's a winner!), and live entertainment from the incredible Dirty Catfish Brass Band; trust us, you're in for a real treat! Ticket information available here!

Complementary transportation to and from Canadian Forces Base Shilo Officers' Mess will be offered departing from the Victoria Inn in Brandon at 5:30 p.m. and returning at 10:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Free parking will also be available in the Victoria Inn parking lot. If you plan to take advantage of this perk, please indicate so in an email to director@thewomenscentrebrandon.com so that we can provide numbers to the drivers!

The Women’s Resource Centre provides programs, services, and counselling on issues affecting women and children, including family violence while encouraging respect, diversity and equality with a feminist perspective.

The Hearts to Home Gala on May 13th will be The Women’s Resource Centre’s major fundraiser for the 2017-18 fiscal year. We rely on events such as this to continue fulfilling our organization’s mission and goals.

As The Women's Resource Centre expands services to the women and children of western Manitoba there is an increasingly prevalent need for a larger space from which to provide these services. It is our hope that those who are able will open their hearts and assist us in our search for a new (to us) home!

If you are unable to attend, but would still like to support us, consider purchasing a ticket so that one of the women in our community that we work alongside may attend!
