A Rural Canada Day Celebration

"To celebrate Canada’s 150 there will be a party July 1st 3PM – midnight entitled “Come Tell Your Story.” This free-admission family-friendly event will take place at the Usick Farm, located 15 minutes southeast of Hamiota.

Visitors will be invited to locate themselves on a giant map of the area and share their family history. Expect to see vintage cars and tractors, games for kids, face painting, a cowboy poet, historical displays and an art sale featuring original artwork of local artists. The evening will finish with a bonfire and fireworks. Hot dogs, homemade iced tea and a coffee bar will be provided.

All freewill donations after expenses will go to the pool lining at Hamiota Aquatic Centre. This event has been made possible through the support of the Government of Canada."
