Boissevain Touch-A-Truck

Boissevain’s early learning childcare centre, Tiny Turtle Playroom, is hosting its 2nd annual "Touch-a-Truck" fundraiser. This event is an interactive, outdoor, family-friendly experience allowing all ages to "touch", explore and discover the vehicles and working trucks in our community and surrounding area. Bigger and better than the first, this year’s event will be held on Saturday, September 9 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the Turtle Mountain Ag Society Fairgrounds in Boissevain. The first hour will be "horn free" for those who are sensitive to loud noises.

Every child gets excited to see a fire truck, tractor or garbage truck come rumbling down the street. This is the excitement we hope to build on at this event. Instead of just waving at the operator as they drive past, attendees will get the chance to sit in the driver seat and imagine what it feels like to drive the big cement truck or fly around the track in a race car. There will be a food booth with hamburgers and hot dogs for purchase, as well as additional free fun activities for the children onsite. Gate admission is $7 per person, infants 12 months and younger are free.

You can find us on Facebook at "Touch-a-Truck Boissevain" we will continually be adding our exhibitors and their vehicles as they are confirmed.

Confirmed exhibitors to date: Lightning McQueen & Tow Mater

Fire trucks, mobile tire service van, race cars, garbage truck, grader, tow truck, limo and much more!
