Monopoly Brandon

Monoply is creating a new Canadian edition of their popular game and are allowing Canadians to vote on what city will get the spot normally taken by board walk. Brandon is one of the city's that you can vote on, come on Brandon lets get on (the) board!

knowing the people of brandon...

...no one will vote.

I bet they'll put Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and Regina on the orange squares...Or Winnipeg and Thunder Bay on the purple squares.

If Brandon does make it on there, there would be condos instead of houses, and of course empty hotels....oh dont forget high property taxes as well...Brandon could be Park Place!

26th still

It also says that if you dont go to your email and confirm your log in that your vote will not be counted. Maybe thats why we are not moving up.

Voted

Voted twice, once last night and once this morning. The people/cities that win these types of things are the ones that mobilize a small group of people to vote once every day, moreso than a larger group of people where everyone votes once and then forgets about it. Every vote will help, but try to vote daily, try to get a few friends/family members to do the same and we'll have a real shot to climb up the charts!

(you only have to create an account the first time and then it remembers all the details)

Tried voting...

As soon as I hit the vote button, I got an error 500 message. After trying numerous times, I got a window that said "Something went wrong" and that they were going to work on it. I hope they get it fixed soon.

It worked for you? I'll go try voting again right away...

It didn't work. Is anyone else having problems trying to vote? I also tried looking at the leader board and got the Internal 500 message.

Error

Yup said "As soon as I hit the vote button, I got an error 500 message. After trying numerous times, I got a window that said "Something went wrong" and that they were going to work on it. I hope they get it fixed soon. "

I ran into that message last night as I was clicking around their site. I refreshed the page that gave the error and all seemed to be good. They must be having some issues handling the initial volume of web traffic...
