Sabor Latino

Has anyone been to the new Colombian restaurant? Am going on Saturday and want to hear everyone's opinions!

Do I really need to add: I'm asking for opinions on the restaurant, not rants on immigration laws or immigrants.

Interested

I haven't tried it but can't wait to hear reviews. I love trying different types of food.

Food is really good

The food is excellent but the service was sub-par. Its petty but it was a bunch of little things. Non server to see how the dinner was. No refills on our waters. No condiments (ketchup) on table for fries. No napkins on table. Missing a portion of meal (Pick 3 only came out with Pick 2 and since no servers came back they could not be informed of the discrepancy. No bill on the table, had to go to front desk to get it. However knowing that there are some growing pains . I am going back within a few weeks to se if there was any improvement. But like I said I was thoroughly impressed with the food.

I enjoyed it

but the service was very slow, it was hard to get a water refill I attribute that to it being new. The owner came over to explain the menu which was a nice touch. Food wise, it was tasty, We ordered the "try 3", Tortilla soup and three tacos, I think we tried a good cross portion of the menu. IMO I think of it as more of a Tapas restaurant, I will try it again when they become licensed, and knowing the portions are small, it will be more for a snack and a glass of wine, than a full on meal. Price wise we found it to be a tad on the expensive side considering the amount of food served. But all in all a nice experience.
