Dotc

Hi, just want to know what the DOTC days are about? From what I understand, it's a gathering of different groups of the First Nation people in Brandon for the weekend. Are they promoting the culture of the First Nation? To foster better understanding and inviting the other cultures to join them?

Dakota winter festival

Starting Friday and going thru till Sunday there is: powwow, jigging, square dancing, hockey tournament, volley ball, a monster bingo on Sat. lots of items for sale, just to name a few events. the cost is $12 at the gates I believe and other than the bingo, that covers everything that is happening under one roof! It is open to everyone of all ages, no liquor or drugs allowed. It is held at the Keystone Centre.
