Best place to find free/cheap wood boards?

I'm looking to do some art projects that require some wood boards that are approximately 1.5 - 2 inches thick. I don't really want to buy brand new stuff, but I'm not familiar with any locations in or around Brandon that would have some. Any suggestions?

free lumber

“All-Fab” on Park Avenue has a large bin of scrap lumber in their yard. I use it to burn in my fire pit. Try there.
