the dyson blow dryer

I’m in the market for a new blow dryer and have stopped many times to look at this??
Has anybody taken the plunge and bought on?? I own a couple dyson products,, one a 10 year old vacuum and a hand held vacuum. Both have taken a beating and are going strong. However the hair dryer isn’t a cheap investment.

Just wondering if anybody else has talked themselves into one and if so what to you think of it.
Ps. I’m not a hairdresser so it would be for personal use on my fine shoulder length bob hair do!

Yes!!!

One of my best purchases !!! It’s nice and powerful and relatively quiet for a blow dryer...it doesn’t even bother my kitty!!

At Hair today has one. Works fantastic and we can still have a conversation with it on.

Your hair type..? As in long, short thick fine?
I blow dry my hair every day as I can’t get any volume if I don’t. I’m just wondering how well the dyson would work on my hair type based on other uses personal experience.

Have you tried searching youtube? I haven't checked but I would be willing to guess that you could find at least one person testing it with your hair type that would give you pros and cons and maybe even show you if there's any special techniques you would need to use to get the best efficacy out of it.

A lot of money

They look nice but something more basic will do the same job. Spend your money on something more fun than a hair dryer. It’s like half of an all inclusive week long vacation

hair

My hair type is shoulder length and fine. I’m sure he would talk to you about it if you popped in and asked him.

Dyson blow dryer

I got a Dyson as a gift for Xmas and like it a lot. I have long hair and it dries my hair way quicker than my regular Walmart ones. My only qualm with it is I wish the cord was thinner, instead it’s thick and heavy like a vacuum cord.
I don’t know what they cost but it’s a good product, if you have short hair you might not notice the benefits as much but if you’ll have long hair in the future you’ll appreciate it.

Benefit

What is the benefit of the Dyson hairdryer? Ive been reading up on it and as far as I can tell is dries hair quicker than regular ones. But at a $500 price tag that seems a bit steep to save 20 mins.

Overpriced

As a hairstylist, and hearing reviews( from other hairdressers), I’d say you’re better off buying a salon quality dryer from your hairdresser. And it’ll still be less than half price of the Dyson.
