pet friendly stores

Does anyone know which stores in Brandon allow pet dogs? (not service dogs) I know of winners and Canadian tire, any others?

Stores

I know that there are a number of them but right now all I can think about besides the ones you mentioned are Peevy Mart, Princess Auto and Home Hardware and of course all the Pet Stores.

Pharmacies

I don’t know about Manitoba but in Ontario animals are definitely NOT allowed in pharmacies. There are huge fines (up to $5000) for bringing your animal in.

Before going into a pharmacy with a pet always check first. Many have a “no animals” sign in the window just like a no smoking sign.

Know this doesn’t answer your question but might keep you out of a bit of trouble & possible a big fine.

pet stores

I think Pet valu and A Pet Lover's Warehouse both welcome pets on leashes. Be prepared for them to smell everything, though!

Winners

I saw a woman with a dog in Winners a few weeks ago. She said it was pet friendly. Who knew?!!
I'm all for it but hope the dogs don't pee on something LOL!

really?

Am I the only one who doesn’t agree with this? I can see pet stores and even stores where animal feed is sold like Peavy but I am completely shocked at some of the other stores.

Can’t animals stay home while you run to the store and do some shopping? This is so weird to me

Best to start a separate thread to go into that topic so that this one stays on-tracks and gives OP further chance to have their question answered. Thx

Winners

I have seen a dog in Winners before as his owner was trying dog sweaters on him. The dog was in the cart, it was adorable!

And it was good as then you don't have to buy a bunch of sweaters to take home to try on your dog and then return some.
