Taco Time

Was in Winnipeg this weekend and went on TacoTime website to look for the closest location. Low and behold I clicked on Manitoba and there was a spot for Brandon. By far my favourite place for Tacos so this is exciting. I did not live in Brandon when there was a location in the mall.

YAY

This makes me happy! We've missed it so much since it left The mall. Everytime we travel (wpg, regina, etc) that's where we eat. Will be so awesome to be able to get my mexi fries fix, here in Brandon again!

Isn't this already joined with the KFC that is located between Pennington's and Shoppers Drug Mart?

Taco Time

I don't think anything new here for anyone that had been following this thread in late Aug, but does sound like Taco Time is still in the works!

Tacos

If you want a really good taco, try Sabor Latino. They are located on the ground level of the Renaissance condo building across the street from Super Store on 9th and Victoria. They have the best tacos! They have a Facebook page too "_blank
I know this post is about Taco Time, but I felt it was necessary to mention given that someone mentioned they couldn't find a place to grab a taco other than at Taco Bell.

Yes!!! Sabor Latino is far better than the food court tacos from those other places with "taco" in their name.

Sabor Latino

Not only does Sabor Latino serve better food, it's locally owned. Much better to support local independent business in our community than some corporate chain.

Personally I'm not a fan of Sabor Latino. And I love Taco Time. Everyone is entitled to their own choices.
And pretty sure Taco Time will be employing local employees, so some money does stay in our community as well. Notice it's local contracting company doing work on it right now, so that money stays here too. So it may be a corporate chain, but it does offer local employment.
Just my opinion!

Taco time

Not direct from the owners but am under the impression they're on track for toward the end of the month.

Very expensive

we went for lunch at Sabor Latino, it was $12.95 per person for 1 pupusa, one small chicken taco, and a side of chips and salsa. We left hungry and disappointed. The Pupuseria by Chili Chutney is our choice now, less expensive, great service and we couldn't eat $26 worth without exploding.

Is a franchise so it is locally owned.
