...

Noticed the space for lease as here in the classifieds a while back. I heard something about FPC in the mall opening a women's only but can't remember if Curves has anything to do with that or it's totally separate.

Curves

Curves is now on the second floor of the Shoppers Mall. You go into the back of the mall by the old Safeway location and there is an elevator that takes you to the admin offices on the second floor. There is a small flight of steps on the second floor - take them and you should find Curves.

There has not been any announcement that the Curves franchise on 1st street has relocated to anywhere at Shoppers Mall Brandon, unless it's yet to be announced. If they had relocated to the Mall, surely there would be something.

GoodLife fitness is moving in this year. Maybe you know something we don't, but I've never heard of Curves moving to the mall.

FPC has taken over

It is confirmed that FPC has taken over the Curves contracts and they will be honoured at FPC at the mall location as stated. Not sure how to confirm this any more but if you call FPC they will confirm it as well.
FPC has also taken over the Fitness Quest contracts since they recently closed. I know this because I went there and that's what I was told.

Confirmed

Curves was sold to fredericks performance. It just was not advertised like fitness quest was. They opened the women's only facility at the mall location January 6th. Curves members had the opportunity to transfer their momberships but it happened pretty quick & some people may have missed it. Stacy has been there every morning.

Fee

The fees are the same as FPC - an ongoing payment less then 50 as well as a student and seniors rate . I think there is a combination of equipment from Curves FPC and Fitness Quest. Stacey has been there each morning. I have heard great things .

Curves and Fitness Quest

I was up to look at the facility on Jan 4/17. Only Curves equipment there. Did not at that point see any equipment from Fitness Quest. I have since joined another gym.
