Buying a mattress

Where in Brandon can I buy a good quality king size mattress? So far we've only looked at Leon's and Sleep Country. Has anyone bought a mattress from sleep country? If so, how was your experience? Would you recommend them? Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Mattress shopping

I bought a mattress in December, prices are comparable everywhere, they all wanted to make a deal and where matching prices, but Sleep Country is where I ended up buying, the service was by far the best. I did hit every place that sold beds as well. Long 2 days. haha

Endy sleep

Check out endy sleep. I know they aren't in brandon but very reasonably priced and very comfortable. Have had ours for 6 months now.

Definitely check out the Surplus furniture up on the hill. We've bought two mattresses there for our household.

I agree with surplus. I bought my last two mattresses from there. Good prices, and yes, you get brand name.

direct liquidation

Be sure to check them out! Probably score a king size mattress for $300-400. And if u don't like the prize, ask them to make a deal and see what they can do. Guaranteed you'll be glad you did

We bought all new beds (3 sets) from Direct Liquidation last summer. Amazing price, super comfy and we have had no issues with them at all.

We bought our queen mattress & box spring from Kullberg's. They delivered it but no setup offered, didn't even take off the plastic or offer to remove the old one. This mattress was so high it was hard to get onto the bed. The one in the showroom was softer & not so high. We went back & they just said "sorry" mattresses are non-returnable. So much for shopping there! Not very good customer service! We should have gone with Sleep Country for sure as their customer service is much better. Be careful when buying a mattress & ask lots of questions!

Knappers liquidation

We had bought our king size mattress from Knapper's Liquidation quite some time ago. Great price. Located off Richmond Ave east, turn south by the gas bulk station
We then bought recently a king size bed set and headboard and dresser with mirror for another room. The owner gave us a great discount and even helped take it to our house and up to the second floor.
Great people from my experience

simmons beautyrest

I used to be a representative for simmons.
When it comes to a bed you get what you pay for.
If you only want to spend 4-500 on a bed don't expect a great bed. Especially a king size.
Look for a bed that is regular priced at or above $1500 in king size.
If you can get a king bed for $500 be suspicious. No warranty or no return policy.
Yes you can return a bed, if its not on clearance.
The reason why, the manufactures want you to be happy with your bed and are willing to accommodate.
Keep an eye out for sales as most placed will sell them at 50-60% off.
They can offer you that type of deal as the manufacturers give the store a kickback during the sale.
I would recommend a simmons beautyrest to anybody, but I am a little bias with my opinion
I always use to tell people.
You spend 1/3 of your life in bed. Don't go cheap.
Most manufacturers will give you a 10 year warranty on a good quality bed. But you must do the following.
*Mattress and boxspring must be a matching set
*Mattress must not have any stains (Covered with a mattress pad)
*Bed is on a proper frame

The Brick

We bought a box spring and mattress at The Brick last summer and found it was too firm. We called them and they had a 90 day satisfaction policy and we were able to exchange ours for a softer bed ...nice !

Just had one delivered from Dufresne. 55%off.
Guys delivered, setup and took my old one away. Can return up to 90 days if I don't like it. Have to buy a mattress cover, but who doesn't when you buy a new mattress. Can't wait for my sleep tonight.

Sleep Country

Purchased 4 mattresses of different sizes. Good deal. Had one with a warranty issue within the year. Free exchange no biggie. Awesome place to deal with. Definitely recommended.
