Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – The Bobcat men’s volleyball team has bolstered their lineup for next season and a proud BU alum helped seal the deal.
Bryston Keck, from Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan, is coming off a solid sophomore season in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference with the Lakeland Rustlers.
As a freshman, he learned the ropes from Bobcat legend Sam Tuivai, who joined the Rustlers after spending four seasons with Brandon.
Keck was recognized as their rookie of the year for his efforts.
The 6’8 middle set his focus on the sport in his grade 12 season and represented Saskatchewan at the 2015 National Team Challenge Cup.
He is the fourth Saskatchewan standout to sign with BU for 2017-18, joining high school stars Carter Brodner and Nigel Tolley of Regina along with Wakaw’s Travis Walls.
