Winnipeg, MB (CKLQ) – Vincent Massey’s Dylan Sutherland was one of sixteen students who won a McDonald’s Leadership Award.
The award is a one thousand dollar scholarship, provided by McDonald’s.
The scholarships are given to eight female, and eight male student-athletes who demonstrate leadership in sport, school and community involvement.
They must also maintain a 75% average.
Sutherland maintained a 92% average and was the only Westman student to win the award.
He was the team captain for the school’s volleyball and basketball team.
