Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – Schad Richea is the newest member of the Brandon Bobcats.
Even though he will not be playing any minutes on the court, he will be a vital part of the team as he will become the team’s new athletic trainer.
Richea will take over Steve Dzubinski’s position, as he is set to retire this summer after 42 years as BU’s Athletic Therapist.
He is from Regina, SK where he has most recently worked with the Saskatchewan Roughriders as both Head Athletic Therapist and Assistant Athletic Therapist.
Prior to joining the Roughriders he spent time working with the Calgary Flames, Calgary Vipers, Regina Pats, and the Canadian Amateur Wrestling Association, as well as serving as a Medical Coordinator for Fleetwood Mac’s world tour in 2013.
