SCOTT STONEWALLS WHEAT KINGS

2-4

Prince Albert, SK (CKLQ) – The Brandon Wheat Kings opened up their two game Saskatchewan road trip with a 4-1 loss in Prince Albert on Friday night.

Ian Scott looked like he hadn’t missed a beat as he kicked aside 34 shots to earn his 3rd victory of the season in just his 4th start of 2017/2018.

Scott, who missed the majority of the first month with a lower body injury was named the games 1st start and was key in keeping the Wheat Kings offense at bay. Scott kicked aside 19 shots in the 2nd period alone.

Parker Kelly led the way for the Raiders with a two goal night while Brandonite Jordy Stallard picked up a goal and an assist to add to his team leading point totals.

Tanner Kaspick scored the lone goal from the Wheat Kings who got just 15 saves from Dylan Myskiw in the loss.
