Neepawa, MB (CKLQ) – A late comeback for the Waywayseecappo Wolverines wasn’t enough as the Wolverines lost to the Neepawa Natives 5-3 at the Yellowhead Centre.
After a two goal second period by Neepawa, the Natives jumped out with two more in the third period.
Then in the third period, Waywayseecappo scored three goals in span of eleven minutes left in the third, although Neepawa’s Ashton Anderson scored his second of the goal in the midst of the flurry.
Anderson wasn’t the only Neepawa player to score two goals. Braeden Binda also potted two.
Neepawa gets a valuable two points as they try to battle for the seventh and eighth playoff positions with Winnipeg and Swan Valley.
