Hamiota, MB (CKLQ) – The Vincent Massey Vikings are one win away from having an undefeated season in the Westman High School Hockey League.
The Vikings beat the Hamiota Huskies for the second time in as many games with a 7-4 thrashing on the road.
It started with a four goal first period, with the help of Dawson Grebinski who had three points (1G, 2A).
The Vikings piled on two more goals in the second period to put the game out of reach, but there was still some more fireworks.
Massey had a total of 59 penalty minutes in the game, with two game misconducts by Gatlin Hebner and coach Justin Pereaux.
With the win, Vincent Massey improves to 23-0-0-0 on the season with just one game versus Souris on Sunday.
Hamiota falls to 19-4-0-1 but finishes the season in second place in the West Division.
