Virden, MB (CKLQ) – The Virden Oil Capitals have hired a familiar coach to the Westman area as their new assistant coach.
Tyson Ramsey will be joining the team just a few months after resigning from the Brandon AAA Midget Wheat Kings.
Ramsey spent his last four seasons as the bench boss for the Wheaties, amassing a record of 120-55-1-4, including going to a league final twice.
Before that he was an assistant coach for three seasons.
Ramsey played four years in the MJHL with the Winkler flyers before he moved to Brandon to attend Brandon University and played four seasons for the Brandon University Bobcats of the CIS.
