Winnipeg, MB (CKLQ) – The Brandon Bobcats men’s soccer team claimed both awards handed out in the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference year-end awards.
Osian Edwards won the MVP award while coach Jesse Roziere won the coach of the year for the men’s side.
Edwards, the Neelin High School grad scored 14 goals during the year.
Meanwhile, Roziere won coach of the year for the second consecutive year.
The 27 year-old Brandon product is in his third season at the helm of the Bobcats and has made steady improvements in each season, this year culminating in a near-perfect 9-0-1 record and the #1 seed entering this weekend’s Final Four championship.
Both Bobcats teams are in Winnipeg this weekend for the Final Four.
