The woman was found dead inside a residence in the 1000 block of Edderton Avenue on Saturday has been identified, say police.
Police say the victim is 33-year-old Gina Swanson, a resident of Winnipeg. Her cause of death has not yet been determined and police are waiting on results of the autopsy. Police say her death is being ruled as a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
