Officers in Brandon are investigating the death of a man.
Police were on scene Wednesday morning and taped off 15th Street between College and Van Horne Avenue.
Officers say a resident called just after 6 a.m. saying there was a someone lying on the street.
When police got to the scene they found a man on the ground at the location.
The man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Wednesday morning, police said they were treating the death as suspicious.
Late Wednesday afternoon, however, police said early results suggest foul play is not a factor in the man's death.
Police said it may be some time before cause of death is known.
