Super Thrifty Pharmacy is seeking a full time Pharmacy Assistant. Candidate must be available Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm and will be expected to work at least one Saturday shift every month. No evenings, Sundays or holidays. This position requires the ability to complete daily pharmacy assistant duties, as well as working directly in a specialty compounding lab.
Duties include:
- Inputting and preparing prescription orders and compliance packs with diligence and accuracy
- Preparing specialty medications in our Level B compliant compounding lab
- Working with Third Party Payers and Insurance Plans
- Answering phone calls and assisting customers
- Maintaining pharmacy inventory
- Operation of cash register
Requirements for employment:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Previous pharmacy experience and knowledge of Kroll an asset
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
