The Small Business Advisor is a great starting point to learn and develop your skills to deliver small business lending solutions with excellence. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be a trusted advisor with a focus on building and maintaining member relationships through the sale of commercial credit and cash management solutions. You will manage a designated portfolio of small business members like a pro while promoting, selling and negotiating business-banking services to current and potential members. You will strive to develop long-term, profitable relationships with small business members, service partners and local markets to optimize business opportunities and referrals.
A typical day in the life as a, Business Advisor:
Interview members, both existing and potential, in order to gather information, determine business needs and conduct an analysis on credit worthiness
Proactively assess and anticipate member’s needs to identify solutions to meet those needs and the member’s ultimate business objectives
Provide proactive financial advice and achieve set small business portfolio targets
