Anderson Family Farm (https://www.facebook.com/andersonfamilyfarmmb) has been raising pasture pork for over 10 years! Our pigs live on huge pastures with wallow holes, access to bush, lots of straw and live as natural of a life as we can safely provide. Our kids also sell pasture chicken.
We have a huge selection of heritage breed (Berkshire, Large Black, Tamworth crosses). Or if you are after a breed you are more used to, we also have yorkshire pigs (barn pigs) that we raised outdoors. Our pigs are between 6 months and 1 1/2 years old.
They are fed a healthy diet of mixed whole/ground grains and pasture which means they grow slower and have more flavour and no barn taste! We have not given these pigs any chemical dewormers or antibiotics or anything like that.
