Full Time Automotive Tire Technician

Canadian Tire is now looking for individuals who can efficiently install and rotate tires, change oil, and perform full vehicle inspections. This is a temporary full-time position with the potential to lead into a permanent position. Must have a valid driver?s license.

Duties include:

Performing lube, oil and filter changes

Remove, install, rotate and balance tires

Obtaining vehicle information as needed such as make, model, engine size, VIN and license plate

Performing minor repairs and maintenance that do not require the presence of a Licensed Automotive Technician

Complete a full inspection on all vehicles

You may be required to deal with the public and explain required vehicle repairs to your customers

 Experience installing tires and changing oil is preferred

 Must be available days, evenings and weekends

Ability to lift 50+ pounds

 Salary based on experience

 Required to have the necessary tools to perform all aspects of the job
