Seasonal Greenhouse Laborer
Seasonal Position:
Kim?s Greenhouse is hiring!
Located in southwestern Manitoba between Melita and Pierson we are a small greenhouse that provides the surrounding communities with all their gardening needs. We are looking for a hard-working individual that enjoys the outdoors for the 2023 season as a caretaker and cashier. This is a seasonal position, full time or part time from April/May ? August. The hours in the early spring could be flexible for students.
Duties of the position:
- Water and prune plants
- Assess generic plant Health
- Restock Shelves
- Customer Service
- Cashiering
- Inventory
General knowledge of plants and their needs are an asset but not required as we are willing to train a promising candidate. Working weekends are favoured.
Applicants must have:
- A class 5 driver?s licence
- Customer service experience
- Cashier experience is preferred but not required
- Good time management skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
