Developed in collaboration with Indigenous Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and educators, KAIROS Blanket Exercise is an experiential & educational teaching tool that explores the relationship between Indigenous & non-Indigenous peoples in the land we now know as Canada. An Indigenous-led team of facilitators will work through a script that covers pre-contact, treaty-making, colonization, resistance, and much more. The exercise concludes with a talking circle, during which participants discuss the learning experience and deepen their understanding.
