West man hospice association coordinator requirements: Five hours per week which will include two hours twice a week for checking and returning calls, texts and emails during working hours (9am-5pm). And an extra hour- two each month paid for board meetings. Extra hours will be available based on events that will be agreed-upon by the board. These extra hours may include meeting with clients, and or their family and friends, training volunteers and volunteer appreciation events, fundraising events and public relation events. $18 per hour.
Two hours each week should be set aside for meeting with clients volunteers members, hospital home care coordinators, presentations and public relations and awareness events as well as a weekly call to the president of the board.
Two hours each week should be set aside for grant applications fundraising, arranging times to meet with volunteers clients members hospital home care coordinators, working on presentations/public relations and awareness events as well as preparing for board meeting reports. Board meeting agenda and monthly (times are established by the board and may include an evening).
Monthly reports to the board will include hours worked number of clients the volunteers have helped number of clients that you have met with number of people on the palliative care registry names of the volunteers in the number of active volunteer hours names of in active volunteers number of members updates on fundraising plans in grant applications. These points of report are not limited to the list above.
Calls to each volunteer as determined by the board.
Annual volunteer and board appreciation events, thank you cards to volunteers, sympathy cards to families of clients, thank you cards to financial donors, thank you and reports to members as determined by the board.
Hospice week in May public awareness/fundraising events.
