Residential Youth Care Worker, Patrick House - Wkd Nights
Child and Family Services of Western Manitoba is seeking applications to fill a part-time permanent 0.45 EFT Residential Youth Care Worker position at Patrick House. This is a weekend night position (awake shifts) and the shift hours cannot be altered.
Shifts are Friday at midnight to 8 a.m. Saturday and 10 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday, equaling 18 hours of guaranteed work per week. Duties include, but are not limited to: awake night duties, standard youth care responsibilities, participation in staff meetings, report writing and household maintenance tasks.
Patrick House is a unionized facility with an agreement ratified between the Agency and MGEU; wage will be on the RYCW 1A or RYCW 1 salary scale. Position is subject to a six-month probationary period.
- At least one year of post-secondary education preferred;
- Related experience is a definite asset;
- Valid Manitoba class 5 Driver's license;
- Standard First Aid & CPR level A;
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record check, Child Abuse Registry check, Prior Contact check and a Driver's Abstract check is required.
