Salary: $58,764 to $87,303 annual ($31.07 to $46.16 hourly)

(Educational Supplement: Master?s degree $2,725 per annum; PhD $5,450 per annum)

The school is currently searching for a Part Time term instructor to teach general business courses across our programs in the Manitoba Institute of Culinary Arts. Course assignments may include Career & Business Planning, Workplace Essentials, Software Applications and Human Resource Management.


The Manitoba Institute of Culinary arts opened the doors of its state-of-the-art educational facility in September 2007 at Assiniboine?s North Hill Campus. The site features heritage buildings and a picturesque landscape, with newly constructed and renovated classrooms and labs, plus a leading-edge teaching kitchen, theatre, and 60-seat dining room.

If you are eager to share your knowledge and expertise with students, then we want to hear from you. You will be an engaging and forward-thinking instructor, ready to inspire the next generation of students who are seeking careers in the culinary and hotel management industries. Flexibility to teach both online and in-person is desirable. Enthusiasm that can be applied to classroom management, student evaluation, lesson planning, academic advising and related administrative duties is essential.

You will be someone who loves to communicate and is ready to share your knowledge of business with our students. Your comprehensive understanding of what it takes to be successful in the culinary/hotel management world will be inspirational to our students and will prepare them for the future.


Deliver Results.

You will have a relevant business background that includes an appropriate post-secondary education combined with several years? experience in a business environment. Experience teaching adult learners would be an asset. Your excellent communication and organization skills are complemented by your ability to work effectively in a team environment.
