• The Hay Handler is a bale fork designed for 2 bales with the feature of being able to move each bale up wards & outwards independently or together.
• When Loading bales the first bale is picked by lining up edge of bale with centre of fork. By activating grapple valve, the first bale is raised upward and outward. Thus the first bale is not dragged on the ground or against the second bale being picked. The first bale is lowered and brought inwards squeezing it against second bale ready to load on trailer.
• When unloading the hydraulic the valve allows both forks to move outwards and upwards together. 2 bales are picked from the trailer with forks positioned in down and inwards position. The bales are picked from the trailer, the grapple valve is activated spreading bales to desired width and placed in 2 rows. This preventing spoilage and freezing, also works to stack mushroom style.
• By handling 2 bales at once you can cut loading time by 30% to 40% and unloading by 50% over a single bale fork. Thus saving time and fuel.
• Another feature is weight and weight distribution. Hay Handler weight is approx. 1000lbs, versus a bucket and grapple at 1500lbs plus. The centre of loaded is closer to the tractor with the hay handler, leaving the tractor with better weight distribution to bucket and grapple with two bales.
