Up in an evergreen high up high  
So, so up high  
Almost to the sky  
R 2 love birds  
Not actual love birds  
but 2 birds in love,  
so in love  
so so so in love  
it was a farce  
holes in the love to the sky  
holes in the love to the depths of hell  
it made the rest of the tree birds mad  
so so mad  
one bird left one day  
no one knew where  
no one really cared  
the other bird fell to the ground  
broken heart and all they thought  
 
 
 
but it was old age  
and the bird was no longer a love bird  
it was a solo bird migrating south forever
