Discussions

(Mark.7:1-23)  
 
Some religious persons came to Jesus from Jerusalem and they were Pharisees, Scribes and perharps the Saducees and were concerned about Jesus Christ's disciples not traditionally washing their hands before meal. So they found fault with Him and the disciples.  
 
The Jews and the Pharisees washed their hands a million times whenever they had to eat and so they were frustrated at seeing Jesus' disciples going contrary to the traditions of the Elders. They held the traditions of the elders above the Words of God and thereby claimed that the Elders were equal to God.  
 
They washed pots, pans, cups, brasen vessels and tables at their arrival from the market places and public sectors. Jesus' response to their question was very stern and stood as a rebuke to the double standards of humanity.  
 
He said to them, "Isaiah well prophesied concerning you and said, This people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. In vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the instructions of men. They have put aside the Words of God and hold to the tradition of men, violating the God's Word. You have rejected the Words of God for the instructions of ordinary men, thus making the Words of God of none effect through the elevation of man words above God's."  
 
It is like the 21st Century and Jesus Christ is speaking to our law makers, lawyers, politicians, presidents, prime ministers, governors, queens, kings, business tycoons, the wealthy, the rich and famous of our days.  
 
They have rejected the counsel of God for mere man's instructions and have unilaterally driven God out of schools. Human beings think they can legislate God out of this world and replace Him with themselves. No, we are wrong! The created has no ability or power to remove God from the earth that He has created.  
 
You cannot legislate God out of His World and those who have tried died and their memories are forgotten. Voltaire tried and his house became the printing press for the Bible and he died a miserable death.  
 
You can keep Christ out of the schools, removed prayers from the schools, Ten Commandments from public places and removed Bibles from our schools, but you cannot legislate Him from the earth because He owns it including beasts, humanity and all created things.  
 
Humans can rule in God and through Him, but when they want to do it without God, they are in danger of inviting Satan and his evil spirits into their lives and cultures.  
 
Jesus came to show us the way of the Lord and the earlier we believe in Him the better it will be for humanity. You can be a Joseph and still occupy the throne of Egypt as its Prime Minister. You can be a Daniel and still occupy the seat of the president next to Nebuchadnezzar. You can be Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and still be the governors of Babylonian Empire. God can empower you to be the best that you can be in Christ.  
 
Let God rule the earth through you and you will be fulfilled beyond any thing that the earth can provide. Believe in Christ and it shall be well with you and your businesses. (John.3:14-21)
