simple wedding

Ok, so my common law partner and I have decided to finally get married. But I don't know where to start. Who do I need to call if we just want to "got to city hall" to do this? And how quickly can it get done? We have been together for over 10 years and would like to just sign the papers and get it over and done with. If anyone has any info that could point me in the proper direction it would be appreceiated.
