We already know men and women are different...

But why are men's and women's sizes SO different???
You go into a men's clothing store and you find pant sizes based on the actual size of their waist/hips (Trent for example wears pants with a 34 waist). Women's stores SOMETIMES do the same - other times you'll find sizes like 00, 5, 10, 14, 22... Where do these numbers COME FROM?!
And why can't they be consistent from store to store? A size 8 in 1 store can be a size 10 in another... And in some stores there seem to be sizes missing, like there are only odd or even numbered sizes.
This whole mess has made Trent's attempt at shopping for his wife somewhat difficult.....
