Been a few months, but out of what’s avail I’ve preferred Safeway if you get them on the day they’re made. Hope someone knows of a place I haven’t tried yet but with all due respect to anyone I’ve tried, lots of “good” but still hoping for somebody to take a swing at “great.” Gooey, soft, tons of cream cheese and creative toppings would be my ideal personally... sorta in a way to like what Joe Beeverz has done with Poutines. This place is in a smaller town in BC, but show me a smorgasbord of cinnamon bun varieties like this locally and I’ll show you a me with 50 more pounds within a month :)https://www.tripadvisor.ca/LocationPhotoDirectLink-g182188-d3923686-i251150679-Old_Town_Bakery-Ladysmith_Vancouver_Island_British_Columbia.html
Thx for the tip. Had to stop scrolling their page, they seem to have a way of posting pics that bring out a loud growl in the stomach! Maybe worth making a day trip out of these guys plus Fossil Centre. Couple other day trip ideas out of this thread, maybe surrounding towns are the next step in the search!
Have to say, Coffee Culture has joined the big leagues (pic added). Caramel, pecan and cream cheese topping and as soft/melt in your mouth as you can ask for. Best I've had in Brandon so far and its not even close!
