It drives me absolutely NUTS when there's a garbage and a blue re-cycling can next to each other, and countless idiotic fools still strut up to the garbage and toss in cans, plastic bottles, empty jugs.  
Chances are, I figure, they are the same people who cry all day about the "ozone!", and "trees!", and "emmissions!". Well wake up, grow a brain, and realize you're just as bad. It's 2018 people, how is this new and/or foreign?

They may already be wise as to what they can/cannot recycle. Not every type of plastic/paper/etc is accepted for recycling here!

Very true. People are oblivious either way. Figure it's all the same thing. There's a giant difference

I am all for green bins too. I know you can collect the material & take to a disposal site in Brandon but I don’t think many do.  
I have a bin in the freezer and dispose when it gets full.
