I have a small house for sale and wonder if there is a business that stages empty homes for sale.

Just looking for a few pieces of furniture to place in an empty house to give an idea to prospective buyers of what would fit, especially the bedrooms.

I am guessfing you will have to do it yourself. It really isn't that hard. You just have to figure out your budget and choose pieces accordingly.  
You could check out Easy Home for renting furniture. Or look for affordable pieces on ebrandon and at yardsales. Get a few accent pieces (throws, cushions, plants, etc.) Set it up and voila, you are set. Biggest one, set a budget and stick to it. Keep it clean and inviting. Not sparse.  
I did my sister's house when she sold it. It was an older house and we did it with what she already had. The key word that came from every mouth at entry was "Wow". Which is exactly what you want.

Depending on the house and the type of buyer you're trying to attract, it might be beneficial to not stage it. I know when we look at houses, I much prefer an empty house so I'm not influenced by the current owner's use to space when trying to imagine us in here. I find it opens me up to more possibilities on how the configure the space within the rooms.  
 
But otherwise, I agree completely with AndreaD. Either rent some furniture or just get a couple of pieces cheap off ebrandon (which you can turn around and sell again after for not a lot of net cost to you).

We’re currently looking at different houses. Some houses that have impressed us have had furniture, some have not. Some houses we didn’t like had furniture, and some didn’t. We were more focused on the house than whether or not it was properly furnished.
