It's been so difficult getting any information for our area. The news articles mention "Manitoba" in the headlines, but of course only talk about Winnipeg. This has been a truly invaluable resource to Brandon and area. A sincere thank you to Adam and all the contributors who are working to keep our communities safe and informed.
Thanks guys, am doing my best to try to play a constructive part and support what official government/health sources and media are doing to cover and inform us on what's taking place. Extremely appreciative of the amount of folks sending tips and of all of the the businesses & organizations in town that have been so on-top of posting their updates online.
Thanks very much. The Province posts regular updates at https://manitoba.ca/covid19/ As of right now it's showing: 20 cases confirmed or probable in Manitoba 16 of which are in Winnipeg 2 in Interlake region2 in Southern Health region 0 in Prairie Mountain Health (which includes Brandon) I'm sure at this point itngoes without saying, but the zero shouldn't be taken as supporting a false sense of security... social distancing guidelines are important for everyone to follow. Keep an eye on that provincial link for any further updates that they post on cases, its the go-to for official information on present state. For general COVID-19 discussion we have the ongoing thread below, along with a handful of other more specific topics that have been brought up in their own threads in recent days: https://ebrandon.ca/messagethread.aspx?message_id=1050629&cat_id=14&startnum=31
