Will any wheel cover fit a Toyota ? I looked up the factory  
wheel cover and pretty expensive I only need one, I tried a generic one a while back ( said for Toyota), so probably the installer, me that it didn't want stay on.

If the wheel diameter and the trim diameter match then it should fit. Just a heads up some of the aftermarket wheel trims are quite tight and can be quite brittle so you have to be careful but firm fitting them.

I was going to tell you to take one cover off, use it as a sample, and go to the auto wreckers . But it seems you have a problem with the covers coming off and putting them back on . Instead , take a picture of one of the remaining original covers and go to the auto wreckers - Wesman Salvage - and they will help you find a match. You will then have an original, proper fitting , and matching cover . Best of all you will only have to buy one instead of a new pair or set of four. If you ask them nice , they will probably put it on for you !!!

If you can’t find the match, replace all 4 with aftermarket ones. You just need to know what rim size you have.15”,16” etc. Canadian tire sells a pk of 4 for around 40 bucks.

they were helpful but they don't inventory "plastic" wheel covers, Cdn Tire have a very limited stock17" ( at this time) . prefer not to order.  
But I now know generic will fit and when I get them ,don't be afraid to use a little force to put them on.
