December 31 provincial update

The Province has issued Thursday's final COVID-19 bulletin of 2020 at:

The province has advised of the death of a female in her 70s in the Prairie Mountain Health region. Based on data, this appears to have been a death in the Brandon district. This would be Brandon’s 15th death and 2nd not linked to Fairview if the information in today’s media release is accurate.
A local perspective on data released alongside today’s update is below.
BRANDON:
Total cases on dashboard: 790 (+3 or +258 in December)
Active cases on dashboard: 36 (-5)
Recoveries on dashboard: 739 (+7)
Deaths: 15 (+1)
PRAIRIE MOUNTAIN HEALTH REGION:
Reported new cases: 7
Total cases on dashboard: 1553 (+8 or +517 in December)
Active cases on dashboard: 169 (-4)
Recoveries on dashboard: 1350 (+11)
Deaths: 34 (+1)
Current Hospitalizations: 9 (+1)
ICU patients: 1 (no change)
Compared to yesterday, these are the differences in PMH case breakdown by age group in differentiating provincial data released yesterday vs today:
60-69: +1 female
40-49: +2 female
30-39: +1 female, +1 male
20-29: +1 female, +1 male
10-19: -1 female, +2 male
In Manitoba as a whole, the province is reporting 187 new cases of COVID-19 and a five day test positivity rate of 11.2% in Manitoba.
