    After having my lady parts removed gained weight never went on any HRT now thinking of doing something about it .Has anyone just bought estrogen off the store shelf a good brand did it help with weight control ?

    This is likely a conversation that is best had with your doctor as they will have better knowledge and will be able to provide appropriate recommendations for you.

    I would assume you cannot get estrogen off the shelf much like you can't buy testosterone off shelf. You will need to get a pres:cription from a dr.

    did the doctor thing just wanted feedback about other options folks may have used , tried that helped them with weight loss estrogen supplements etc.

    By lady parts, do you mean you had a hysterectomy with oophorectomy? We are allowed to say it.  
     
    You need to talk to your doctor. HRT is not to be taken lightly as there can be significant risks associated, including increased of stroke. Like all medication, the benefits clearly need to outweigh the risks.
