I use ziploc too. Wax paper on between. I will try to use a bag that's already been used so that this is it's "end application" before being tossed out. Alternatively, if I have a plastic container large enough I'll just use that.
I use a canning lid and ring as my "mold" to form and measure each patty. It's perfect because
1 I already own them,
2 I have 3 different sizes for different things, that give 3 different weights and dimensions, and
3 They pop apart so it's easy to remove each patty as I form them.
I just pop them in the dishwasher after and have specific ones I use for this purpose (the lids are already used, so would otherwise end up in landfill anyway).
