Have anyone received income tax forms yet from CRA? Or are they not sending them out and we just have to go on line and print forms?  
 
Still waiting on all pension tax forms as well. Why are those so slow this year?

Got mine today.

one person receiving their form, I have not, yet. So must be still sending them out.  
CPP was in the mail yesterday .  
I was beginning to think I may have to pay taxes this year, heh,heh

Everyone has until Feb 28 to send out the information slips (T4's, T4A's, etc), so they should arrive by this week or next week at the latest if they're being mailed.  
 
Your T1 (the actual income tax return) is due April 30th for most people.

I think the govt is the slowest sending forms out. My wife, same last name received her paperwork weeks before I got mine.  
 
All paperwork did arrive but delayed.  
 
Think we can file two weeks late and avoid penalties. Say COVID

I think last year there was an extension, but this year is still April 30, 2021.

Also, the slips are not late unless they are postmarked after Feb 28. That is the deadline to send them out for all payers, including government programs.

as your aware the post office is having issues. Took 27 days to receive a letter from post mark date in Winnipeg to my post box.

That's not the norm. Also, why would I know that? Most people's mail seems to be moving just fine.  
 
Besides, my answer was about the cut-off date for having those items in the mail. That's February 28, regardless who the payer is (government, service agency, employer, investments etc). The slowness of mail is another matter entirely and outside of the control of anyone but Canada Post.  
 
That's also a reason why there's a 2-month gap between when the information slips are due to mailed out by, and when the income tax needs to be submitted (electronically or postmarked by).

I do not wait for anything Govt. to be mailed out.  
Anyone can go on Service Canada and print any T4s for CPP, OAS, etc.  
You can also go on your bank's website and print off T5s for RRIF. Interest, etc,  
I am retired so don't have to wait for T4 from an employer.  
I also get my health insurance form thru Email.  
I use WealthSimple (formerly Simple Tax) to file online. Very simple to use and you choose how much to pay.  
Filed last Wednesday, refund rec'd into bank acct. today.

maybe with the Christmas rush but not now..Got a parcel from Tampa in 7 days including customs. It normally takes 8-10 days. in Dec Jan it was taking 21 days. But never 27

Maybe before Christmas but most of the back log is caught up now and has been for a while so you will have to enlighten us on what issues they are having.  
 
27 days from Winnipeg. Maybe they just recognized the name and address...

Canada Post has been very inconsistent. I had a package come from California quicker than coming from Ontario.. It took five days for the last small packet to come from Winnipeg.

Mail has been very inconsistent.  
 
Letter mailed Dec. 21 in Milwaukee arrived here February 24, letters mailed same place Jan. 4th and Jan. 15 both arrived here Feb. 26. Lettermail from Dallas arrived here 2 weeks after mailing. Of course, those letters do also get handled by USPS and the first one definitely got caught up in the Christmas backlog. I have had parcels arrive here from Toronto in 2 days while parcels from Winnipeg have taken 4 days and 6 days.  
 
On the plus side, my household received the final tax package today; the pension tax slips arrived yesterday. So, now I can get busy on the tax returns. Woo-hoo.

Unfortunately it isn't always an option just to go on to your online CRA account and print off the forms you need.  
My husband and I are waiting on some forms that haven't been uploaded to our CRA account yet. They have to be submitted to CRA already but they aren't available yet.  
It's great that you have been able to access all the forms you're needing but not everyone is able to access them even without waiting for Canada Post
