Just curious as to where everyone has good luck with online parts ordering I need a fuel pump and even the parts stores in town that I got prices from can't believe how expensive the one for my car is. Would like to snoop around online a bit before I commit to ordering from a parts store here. I can change it myself and it hasn't totally failed yet. It loses pressure when it sits for a while so to get it started I just need to cycle the key a couple of times before I start it after a day or so not using the car.

Rockauto by far. Shipping is pretty fast too.

One great thing about Rockauto is they sell many brands so there might be a lot of choices for you at various price/quality ranges.

I have been quite successful with several online purchases.  
 
I prefer PistonRing the advantage is if there is a problem, face to face conflict resolution is easier.  
 
Also found they were willing to give better deals when I showed online quote.  
 
Another caution with online, shipping and exchange costs bring prices up

I would also recommend Piston Ring because they are local, reliable, helpful , will sort out any issues or warranty and they sell quality product.  
Online auto parts ? Hmmm, there are a lot of counterfeit auto parts out there that don’t meet specification or safety requirements and often parts listed as fitting a certain vehicle turn out to be wrong so you have to be careful.

In my 10+ years of buying parts online from Rockauto items were always high quality, and never had issues with fitting or specifications. If ordering multiple parts make sure they come from the same warehouse, if you order from different warehouses shipping will be higher.
