Brandon is up to 18 active confirmed cases, compared to just one single active case at the end of March. The Prairie Mountain Health region has 86 active cases. Please be informed by getting the most current data from https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/29e86894292e449aa75763b077281b5b?rha=Prairie%20Mountain%20Health
The cause is a great one, but its not fear mongering to ask questions about measures to combat the spread of this very serious virus. Especially based on what the new wave of that same virus is doing right now in the province right next door, its on each and every one of us to make this as inhospitable of an environment as possible for it to dig in the way it has in Ontario and elsewhere. Please don't minimize that threat.
When it comes to this small market at the Dome building, I'm confident that it is being put on within rules and guidance put forth by proper authorities. There's a note about measures at the bottom of the link below that I suspect will answer the OP's question: http://www.provincialexhibition.com/market-at-the-dome/ As I'm sure so many know, the Provincial Exhibition has been put in a very difficult position as a result of not being able to safely hold its large community staple events over the last year. They deserve a ton of credit for stepping up and being proactive with the cancellation of those major events in the interest of public safety during the pandemic. Over the past year they've undertaken many different fundraising initiatives. You can see some of the more current initiatives are outlined at the link below: http://www.provincialexhibition.com/shop-support/
